Free Match Day Warm Up Plan

As a thank you for checking out Horseman Wrestling, I am offering a free Match Day Warm Up Plan.  This is the same plan that I followed during my college career. The plan goes through a few areas to get your wrestlers warm and ready to compete.  This focuses on getting a sweat going, spiking their heart rate, and getting their lungs open and ready for a war.

A solid warm up can be the difference in how your wrestlers are performing. If you would like to get some tips on how to warm up on match day, click the link below and follow the steps to receive your free plan.

Tony Robie, VT Wrestling Head Coach

Jared Haught embodies every quality that we look for as a member of our staff and he is a great example for our team... Overall, adding Jared to our coaching staff was a home run.

Cliff Warden, Christiansburg Wrestling Head Coach

Jared does a great job teaching the fundamentals and getting the technique across to our wrestler that attend camp. I like to pick his brain here and there with his set ups and hand fighting techniques as well.

Ty Walz, Coach, SERTC Athlete, Multiple Time National Team Member

I have been lucky enough to be Jared’s Teammate, Coach, co-worker, and friend. His expertise will be beneficial for coaches, athletes, and programs at any level. If someone knows step-by-step how to go from a raw high school wrestler to the NCAA Finals, it’s him.

Horseman Wrestling Camps

I also perform clinics outside of the college season.  At these camps, I can go more in depth and show more advanced technique as the group catches on. If you are interested in attending a camp and would like more information, you can click on the camp from the list below.  If you are interested in bringing me in for a camp, you can let me know in the Contact Me section.

Camp Information:

I currently do not have any camps scheduled due to COVID guidelines and NCAA dead period rules.  I am excited for this upcoming summer to get back on track!

Jared Haught

Hebrews 12:11

Coach Haught is a mechanical engineering graduate from Virginia Tech and was a four-year starter for the Hokies. While competing his senior year in college, his coach (Frank Molinaro) gave him the nickname "Horseman" for his horse like strength. During his college career, he was a national finalist (2018, First WV Native to make it to the NCAA D1 Wrestling Finals), three-time All-American, two-time ACC Champion, 2017 ACC Scholar Athlete of the Year, and a part of three ACC Team Championships. After graduating in 2018, he helped the Southeast RTC and worked an engineering job for one year before joining the Virginia Tech Coach Staff as the Volunteer Assistant in 2019. He has worked closely with, coached, or been coached by many NCAA Champions, All-Americans, and Olympians.  Now, his goal is to take what he has learned to grow coaches, wrestlers, and the sport.
